Irene Kung style image

screen-shot-2017-03-05-at-20-02-01 screen-shot-2017-03-05-at-17-15-06

Before                                  and                                      After

Here is an image I created using the Irene Kung style, by illuminating a building and making it dream like. Within this image I am pleased with the result and the how isolating it has created depth for the atmosphere of the image. Making it feel like a scene from a horror movie.

3 new Interpretations

For the interpretations we have been given a chance to improve our images for the interpretation assignment. With three new interpretations to redo, from the same list of things to photograph.

The three I have chosen is ….

Piece of white paper

For this I want to take a picture of a piece of white paper but using a slow shutter speed so I capture the paper still and then with movement within the paper, to create  like a ghost affect within the movement. I came up with this idea as I feel it is a creative way to show a piece of white paper, then just taking a picture of a piece of white paper which isn’t interesting in the slightest. For this I either want to use the wind machine in the studio, or use the wind own location, I want to try adding movement into the paper as well as cutting the paper up and capturing as it falls down or gets blown down.

A boat with shallow depth of field

I chose to do the picture of the boat with a shallow depth of field as for my first experiment I put no effort into it, as I didn’t really thought about it and left it till the last week / day to do it, So I want to find a boat and create a creative image using depth of field, within camera.

While out on location doing a session for Andy, I was photographing the statue in Queens Victoria Square, and she was holding a boat in her hand and I only noticed this while photographing it for Andy’s Reanimation.

So I have chosen to photograph that with a shallow depth of field, although I don’t know how this will come out as taking a straight on shot of the boat and the statue, I am only going to get the background or the wind turbine in the background and with it being so high up it might not sit properly or become too distracting For the image, so I will try it then if not, explore other options and ideas.

Couple

Couple is another word I rushed and honestly didn’t put any effort into, so I want to go back and redo this to help me and my own images. With it being valentines a few days ago I want to find a sign that has couple on it and either wait for two people or birds two things to appear under neath it or near it, so it create an humorous image. If not I want to find a couple in a unusual place to make the image creative and so it stands out. So I have put some thought into the image to make it creative

I have chosen to redo these images, as I didn’t put all my effort into them the first time round and weren’t interesting, so i want to reproduce them but with more creativity and thought put into them.
